Ze moeten het zelf beseffen voor ze geholpen kunnen worden door anderen. Ze denken jouw hulp nu al nodig te hebben. Maar ze zijn er nog niet klaar voor. Jij weet wat zij nog niet weten. Het ware geluk ervaar je in jezelf. Dat zei Boeddha al. Het werkt hard. Het zet allemaal trucjes in om je weg te houden van de waarheid. Daar is het best goed in. Je rationele kant flink aan het werk zetten zodat het kan ontkennen wat er wel is. Maar dat conflict heeft een prijs: somberheid bijvoorbeeld. De hang naar verslavingen. In een vrouw wellicht.
